There's more to St Helens Carnival than the Nude Gift.

Ok, to be fair... the Nude Gift - at midnight on the beach - hasn't been run for quite a few years, but the Carnival is not over. It just keeps giving.

World-class choppers... yes, World Champions here. At least a few. Chopping showdowns between a father and a son... and one heat that is pretty much all members of the same chopping family!

See some of our most entertaining cyclists, including a mad Italian who ruffled some feathers at the other Carnivals; Sneaky AJ, the Mischief-Maker making some mischief; TwoTerrible Twins from the North West piling on the pressure; plus powerhouse mother of five and recent grandmother, Suzanne States on the charge... as well as other 2025 Wheelrace Winners like Jack Hadley and Emily Walker.

There will be wily running veterans like Luke Whitney; Rebecca VON SAMORZEWSKI showing off some serious speed; and long-striding distance specialist, James Hansen, giving a massive start to a very solid field... and still a big chance.

There will be plenty to see, but let's just imagine that you get bored for fifteen seconds... you won't, but let's just say that something extraordinary happens and you find yourself with nothing to do. Well... there are icecreams to eat, beer to drink, rides to... umm ride... and if you've never watched the chopping before, it's just incredible what a woman with an axe can do to a tree trunk with their bare hands and blade that would split a hair.
